Continental Divide Trail

COMPLETED: September 25, 2016

The Continental Divide Trail is one of the most unique and pristine trails in the world. The Continental Divide was established in 1978 and is believed to stretch around 3,100 miles between Mexico and Canada and traverses five states. Actual mileage when hiking the CDT is somewhere between 2,600 and 2,800 miles, since many parts of the trail lacks an actual foot path, there are multiple ways to hike it so mileage will be different for every hiker.  I started at the Mexican border at Crazy Cook Monument and worked my way northbound towards the Canada’s border. I hope to be able to do this trail again, someday. It was truly a dream come true.
